ZOOS AND WILDLIFE PARKS
The bad old days of zoos being stark concrete repositories for "collections" of caged, displaced animals are fortunately, for the most part, long gone. In the twenty first century, the majority of first-world zoos and wildlife parks now form a network of "stationary arks" where the welfare of the animals is given priority and endangered species breeding provides hope for the future.
